What is the procedure for change of name of a local company?   You will have to submit an online application for change of name via BizFile. The approved name will be reserved for 60 days from the date of application. If you are unable to submit the documents for the change within this period, you can apply online for an extension of another 60 days upon payment for each approved name. After the company name has been approved, you will need to submit an online application via BizFile attaching the special resolution to change the company name.
